If you received a message from Stream regarding a hold on your enrollment, it may be for one of the reasons listed below. We cannot start your service until we receive all payments or information. Without these documents or payments, your service start date may be delayed.
Each section below includes details on where to send outstanding items. If the requirements for your account are not satisfied within 30 days, your enrollment will expire. Please allow two business days from our receipt of the missing items for us to process the information.
Getting Your Service Started
If you have already submitted the requirements for your hold, there is no need to resubmit them.
Deposit Not Satisfied
Your deposit requirement has not been satisfied. Stream offers several ways to do so, including waivers for eligible customers.
Identification Validation
Before we complete your enrollment, we will need a copy of one (1) of the following valid forms of identification front and back.
- Valid, unexpired state-issued identification card (front and back)
- Driver’s license from the United States (front and back)
- Passport (Be sure to include both the photo and the signature pages in the image submitted of the open book including all four corners.)
- Alien Registration card (front and back)
- Consulate ID / Matricula Consular (for any country) (front and back)
- Texas Concealed Handgun License (front and back)
- Social Security card (front and back)
Documentation Guidelines:

- Email Subject: Identity Verification for (insert name of account holder and state).
- Email Body: Please process the attached documents for (insert account number, account holder’s full name, daytime phone number and service address).
- Images must be in PNG, JPEG, PDF or .doc format.
- Images must be high-quality, unobstructed, legible and uncropped.
- Images must show a full document page or, in case of state or national ID photocards, both sides of the card.
- Documents must be valid and not expired.

Security Notification
We were not able to verify your identity. Before we can complete your enrollment, we will need a front and back copy of two (2) of the following forms of identification, one (1) of which must be a photo ID.

New Occupant Confirmation
If you recently moved, we may be waiting for two required documents to confirm your move:
- The New Occupant Confirmation form, which must include the ESID number for your service address.
- A photocopy of one of the additional documentation forms listed on the New Occupant Confirmation form.
Deed or Lease & ID Required
A copy of your signed deed or lease AND a valid form of identification is required to complete your enrollment. For a list of valid identification, please see below under "Identification Verification." Once your documentation is received, it will be entered into the system and reviewed in 24-48 business hours.
