You can email the documentation to depositwaivers@mystream.com. All deposit waiver documentation must be received before the new service or switch request can be submitted.
How to submit proof for waiver:
- Email documentation to depositwaivers@mystream.com.
- Email Subject: Deposit Waiver for (insert name of account holder and state)
- Email Body: Please process the attached documents for (insert account number, account holder’s full name, daytime phone number and service address).
- 65 or Older
You have a valid ID from the list below that shows you are 65 years of age or older.
Documentation Required for Waiver
Copy of Birth Certificate, Valid State Driver’s License, State Issued ID Card, Department of Corrections ID, Military ID Card, Passport, Government Employee ID Card, Alien Registration Card or Consulate ID Card.
- Victim of Family/ Domestic Violence
You have been determined to be a victim of family violence.
Documentation Required for Waiver
A copy of a Family Violence Protection Order or a copy of a police report with reference to family violence.
- Letter of Credit
You have been a customer of any electric utility, and can demonstrate you are not currently delinquent in payment and have not had more than 1 late payment over the past twelve (12) consecutive months of service.

Current provider must send a letter to Stream showing customer has not been delinquent more than once in the past twelve (12) months.
- Military
Waived for active or discharged Military personnel.
Documentation Required for Waiver
Customer must provide Military orders or discharge papers less than 6 months old.
- Switch in Good Standing
Only for Residential switches on a fixed rate product.

Send copy of most recent invoice showing the account is active and without a past due balance to customerservice@mystream.com. Invoice must be dated within the past 60 days. The name and address on the invoice must match the new account.
- Premium Plan – Reduced Deposit
Reduced deposit amount available for customers who enroll on the 12-month premium product.
