04-30-2008 - A panel of 25 global industry analysts has selected Dallas-based Stream Energy as one of the two most innovative companies in North America in the area of customer service. The selection will be announced tonight in San Antonio by Genesys Telecommunications Laboratories, Inc. The Genesys Customer Innovations Awards program recognizes companies that provide outstanding service to their customers through the use of technology.
Stream Energy, which began operations in 2005 as a Retail Electricity Provider in the deregulated Texas energy market, has become one of the fastest growing companies in American business history. The panelists gave Stream Energy a 4-star ranking, the highest honor in the awards program, as a result of the streamlining and transformation of the company’s customer contact center.
