192nd District Court Judge Dismisses with Prejudice Solavei’s Claims
Stream (Stream Energy), announces that yesterday Judge Craig Smith of the 192nd District Court located in Dallas, Texas dismissed with prejudice the lawsuit filed against Stream by Solavei LLC during January 2015.
More particularly, the court granted Stream’s motion for summary judgment and thereby found that Solavei had no evidence whatsoever to support its groundless allegations for breach of contract, theft of trade secrets or conspiracy arising out of the launch of Stream’s mobile phone business. The court’s order granting the summary judgment effectively clears Stream of Solavei’s allegations that Stream used Solavei’s proprietary information to launch its own mobile offering.

Stream Associates Directly Impact Stream's Charitable Efforts
Stream (Stream Energy), a leading nationwide provider of services people use every day, donated over one million minutes to Cell Phones For Soldiers, a nonprofit organization dedicated to providing cost-free communications services to active-duty military members and veterans. In May Stream announced a partnership with the organization and committed to donating one thousand minutes of international talk time for every new mobile customer signed on with Stream during the month of May, directly tying Stream’s charitable giving to the efforts of their Independent Associates.

Stream Donating Minutes for New Mobile Customers During Month of May
Stream (Stream Energy), the premier nationwide provider of essential home services including energy and mobile, announced a philanthropic partnership with Cell Phones For Soldiers, a nonprofit organization dedicated to providing cost-free communications services to active-duty military members and veterans.
The partnership was announced earlier this month in Dallas at Stream’s Ignition 2015 “Get Connected” event for Stream’s Associates and partners. Stream will donate 1000 minutes of international talk time to military members currently serving overseas for every new mobile customer who signs on with Stream during the month of May. Ongoing, Stream will be working with Cell Phones For Soldiers to support the cause through various promotions with its Associates.

Annual Event Brings Associates, Partners and Employees Together in Dallas to Celebrate Recent Accomplishments and Look to the Future
Stream (Stream Energy), the premier nationwide provider of essential home services, including energy and mobile, will host its annual Ignition 2015 convention Thursday, April 30 through Sunday, May 3 at the Hilton Anatole in Dallas. This year’s theme is “Get Connected,” celebrating Stream’s recent launch of Mobile Services by Stream and representing the event’s purpose of bringing together Stream’s valued Associates, partners and employees.
The event is expected to attract over 2,000 attendees and will include top-notch training, networking, recognition and awards. Training sessions will focus heavily on nationwide mobile expansion, with hands-on mobile village demos and workshops on the supporting tools for Associates. New York Times bestselling author (The Noticer, The Traveler’s Gift) and celebrated speaker Andy Andrews will speak at the Saturday morning Ignition general session. Stream announced today that Patrick James, Director of Innovation, will participate as a speaker at the 2015 Smart Energy Summit: Engaging the Consumer, held February 16-18 in Austin, Texas. James will participate in the session "Value-added Services for Retail Energy Providers" on February 18 at 8:45am.
The interactive panel session, moderated by Maia Hinkle, Research Analyst, Parks Associates, examines new revenue opportunities for retail energy providers as well as strategies to capture new customers. Approximately two-thirds of U.S. broadband households are interested in a smart energy service. Retail energy providers, faced with selling a commodity at lower margins each year, are looking to tap into this latent demand with a variety of value-added and adjacent services, including HVAC monitoring, home warranties, and energy management.
