Energy Firm Honored for Its Campaign to Raise Awareness of Childhood Homelessness
DALLAS (May 1, 2012) – Stream Energy, the world’s premier network marketer of energy service, announced today that it has won a 2012 Communicator Award of Distinction in the Integrated Campaign category.
This award comes in recognition of Stream Energy’s charitable marketing campaign last December called “Make 2012 a Year for Kids.” During this campaign, Stream Energy highlighted Captain Hope’s Kids, a non-profit advocacy for homeless children, as part of its broadcast sponsorship of the New Year’s Fireworks Spectacular in downtown Dallas.
“We are very gratified to see that the call to support homeless children is gaining traction,” said Stream Energy chairman Rob Snyder. “We feel that our ongoing relationship with Captain Hope’s Kids is an investment in North Texas’ future, one in which all children have access to life-essential services and a dignified quality of life.”
The Communicator Awards are bestowed by members of the International Academy of the Visual Arts, a body of professionals from a variety of media, advertising, creative, communications and marketing organizations. This latest award for Stream Energy follows the recent news that the company was designated a Top Philanthropic Donor by the Philadelphia Business Journal.
