2011 Marks Fourth Year of Support for Energy Assistance Charity
DALLAS (October 14, 2011) – Stream Energy, the world leader of energy network marketing companies, announced today that it is once again providing a significant donation to the Heating Energy Assistance Team (H.E.A.T), a non-profit organization which helps economically disadvantaged Georgians with their heating bills.
“We are proud to support the work of H.E.A.T. in providing financial relief to families in Georgia,” said Stream Energy Chairman Rob Snyder. “With the winter months soon to be upon us and seasonal heating needs to increase, H.E.A.T. helps families pay their energy bills, irrespective of who their chosen energy provider is. Stream Energy is pleased to be a part of the solution.”
“Many families are living on extremely tight budgets right now. We receive calls daily from individuals who have lost their jobs and are struggling to buy food and pay mortgages or rent and home heating costs,” said Janet H. Joseph of H.E.A.T., Inc. “Stream Energy’s timely contribution will bring hope and warmth to many families facing energy emergencies this winter.”
Since 2008, Stream Energy has provided natural gas service to customers in Georgia. That same year, Stream Energy made its initial donation to H.E.A.T., a non-profit established in 1983 to help low-income households meet their energy needs through partnerships with a variety of concerned organizations.
