Stream Energy Supports Fuel Fund of Maryland with Donation

2012 Marks Third Year of Support for Energy Assistance Charity

Fuel Fund of MarylandDALLAS (November 6, 2012) – Stream Energy announced today that it is once again providing the Fuel Fund of Maryland with a corporate donation to assist low-income families.

Founded in 1981, the Fuel Fund of Maryland provides financial relief to families in distress, with an emphasis on meeting their heating and energy needs.

“Stream Energy appreciates how important energy service is to the health of families,” said Stream Energy Chairman Rob Snyder. “This donation marks Stream Energy’s third gift to the Fuel Fund within the last year and a half, raising our total donations to $12,500.”

In the last 12 months, the Fuel Fund has assisted 7,333 families with utility and other fuel bills.”
