Company honored for its community involvement efforts on behalf of Captain Hope’s Kids
DALLAS, Texas (June 20, 2012) — Stream Energy, the world’s largest network marketer of energy, announced today that it received two bronze medals from the American Business Awards during a recent awards ceremony in New York.
The first bronze medal was bestowed in the category of Communications / PR Campaign of the Year with an emphasis on community relations. The firm was recognized for its efforts in support of Captain Hope’s Kids, a non-profit dedicated to providing relief to the homeless children of north Texas.
The second bronze medal was given to Stream Energy’s senior director of communications, Paul Thies, for developing the firm’s community involvement public relations campaign.
The American Business Awards are the nation’s premier business awards program. Award winners were chosen by more than 140 business professionals nationwide during preliminary judging in April and May. More than 150 members of 10 specialized judging committees determined Stevie Award placements from among the Finalists during final judging.
