Firm Celebrates Sixth Year in a Row as an Award Finalist
DALLAS (September 25, 2012) – Stream Energy, the world’s largest network marketer of energy, announced today that it has once again been named a finalist for a Platts Global Energy Award.
Stream Energy was named a finalist for the Corporate Social Responsibility Award in the Stewardship Award category. This is the second year in a row in which Stream Energy is being recognized for its charitable work on behalf of Captain Hope’s Kids, a not-for-profit advocacy for homeless children in the North Texas region.
“While it is gratifying to receive this recognition, our community involvement just makes good business sense,” said Stream Energy Chairman Rob Snyder. “We have enjoyed a strong relationship with Captain Hope’s Kids for more than four years and believe in its mission to bring relief to homeless children. If we can draw attention through our support to the tremendous work of Captain Hope’s Kids, that is reward enough.”
Winners of the 2012 Global Energy Awards will be announced at a black-tie celebration on November 29, 2012 at Cipriani Wall Street in New York City.
Stream Energy provides service to customers in Georgia, Maryland, New Jersey, Pennsylvania and Texas. The firm has generated $5 billion in total revenues and received numerous honors and accolades since its founding in 2004.
